Joyce Szuflita Joins NYC Private Schools Blog as a Contributor

We are excited to announce that Joyce Szuflita, Founder & President of NYC School Help, will join us as a regular blog contributor in the area of Brooklyn schools.

Joyce specializes in working with Brooklyn families who are navigating the school choice process in Park Slope, Williamsburg, Sunset Park, Carroll Gardens, Bed Stuy, Red Hook, Windsor Terrace, Cobble Hill, Greenpoint, Clinton Hill, and beyond. Brooklyn is a haven for families with its own culture and opportunities. As a 30 year resident and mother of twins she knows the ins and outs of the neighborhood, the common practices, the new trends, the personalities and resources.

Joyce has also worked with families relocating to Brooklyn from Manhattan, Texas, Australia, and beyond with schools in mind. One thing everyone has in common, whether they are native New Yorkers or coming from across the country is that they feel stressed out and confused by the choices and procedures required to find a good fit school.

Joyce uses her background as a Professional Organizer and experienced parent to help clarify and ease the stress associated with the process. She also has extensive knowledge of the public school system and acts as an interface between public and private for many families.
