Linden Tree Preschool has one of the most beautiful websites for a preschool that we’ve seen. It’s colorful, eye-catching, and delivers information that parents can count on. It’s also a good reflection on the school.
The preschool’s mission is succinctly stated in the 4 cornerstones of its program:
- Develop
- Respect
- Educate
- Nurture
Linden Tree has programs for Pre-K, two year olds, and three year olds. And they manage to maintain a fun environment for each age group.
The Linden Tree Pre-K Program
Three and four year olds have an exciting and engaging classroom. The Pre-K program is designed to develop language and literacy at this early age. Children study math, science, social studies, social-emotional development, the arts and physical development, and have fun while preparing themselves for elementary school.
The Linden Tree Program For Twos
Preschool begins with two year olds.
Twos get a healthy dose of storytelling to appeal to their wonderful imaginations. This program is designed to foster self-confidence, independence, play skills, and social interaction. Children use the school year to focus on fine motor skills and social/emotional development as well as critical thinking skills and problem solving.
The Linden Tree Program For Threes
At age three children really begin to expand their imaginations. The Linden Tree program for threes is designed to help them explore their imaginations while developing language, social skills, and developing emotionally. Children take advantage of opportunities to learn communication, self-expression, teamwork, and problem solving.
The preschool experience at Linden Tree Preschool is rich and imaginative. The school is located in Brooklyn and is a part of Christ Church in Cobble Hill. They are a member of the National Association of Episcopal Schools.
