Focus On Little Princeton Day Care

Little Princeton Day Care is a traditional day care catering to parents in South Brooklyn. Their flexible schedule is accommodating to both working parents and those attending school.

In operation since 2009, Little Princeton Day Care prides itself on being not only a day care but also on being a preschool that offers Montessori classes and an environment geared towards future education success. The center accepts children ages 2 through 5 and is open all year. Normal operating hours are 7:30 in the morning until 6:00 in the evening. There is also a program titled “Late Birds” that allows for services until 7:00 in the evening.

Little Princeton Day Care has a varied curriculum that allows for individual attention as well as group play and learning experiences. Montessori classes are offered daily for all children and there are other activities throughout the day as well, including but not limited to:

• Music twice a week for all ages
• Dance Classes twice a week for all ages
• Yoga and fitness class twice a week for all ages
• Beginning math once a week 
• Reading and writing three times a week for older children
• Art once a week for the older children

One interesting focus for older children in that the center offers classes in etiquette and table manners, stressing the North American version over the European version. The  center is bilingual in English and Russian and children are taught to speak Russian along with mastering English. Computers are available to all children in the form of iPads. 

Children participate in both educational and recreational activities that are age appropriate but are also exposed to slightly older children to help with socialization. Meals are prepared onsite by the chef and consist of all natural and organic foods.
