There are many wonderful NYC Private Jewish day Schools. The Rodeph Sholom School, a Reform Jewish Day School in NYC, is one that has made it a mission to foster intellectual curiosity through a challenging independent school academic program for Pre-K through eighth grade. In this school, students are educated and guided by Jewish knowledge, values, and ethics to become self-confident and socially responsible leaders.

Applications
The applications for the upcoming school year 2010-2011 are available online, or for download to paper. Applications are due on December 1, 2009 for all grade levels.

Visits
Visits are a required part of the application process. They are individual for the twos program and for grades 2 through 8. Group visits are arranged for children applying to the threes through first grade. Parent interviews are also a required part of the application process, as well as the ERB test.

Interview
The parent interview is a required part of the application process for all grades, as is the ERB test.
