The history of the school is fascinating as it focuses on the determination and dedication to serve their student body, which outgrew many of the school’s first facilities quickly. As enrollment increased, the school marched forward and increased the size of the school facilities.

The friendship between two extraordinary and committed women began in a child psychology class at New York University. The field of Special Education was just beginning.
