Round The Clock Nursery is a play-based nursery school and daycare that accepts children from the age of 6 weeks until the age of 5 for their nursery school and provides daycare services for children up to the age of 12. The facility is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Round The Clock Nursery also provides emergency drop off services as well as care for children during school closings and summer vacation.
There are 3 locations:
- 3333 Broadway 1st Floor, New York N.Y., 10031
- 301 West 130th Street Suite LA, New York N.Y., 10027
- 2380 Marion Avenue, Bronx N.Y., 10458
Children who are 4 years old will be eligible for the universal pre-Kindergarten program at Round The Clock Nursery. For children under the age of 4 the program is essentially play-based with exposure to reading, math, music and at an age appropriate level. Children learn early math skills by playing with blocks, early science skills by exploring the world around them and music by singing songs. Gross motor skill development is encouraged through both indoor and outdoor play areas. Fine motor skills are developed through arts and crafts projects.
Once children have started school, Round The Clock Nursery can act as their after school care and also for days when the school is closed or on summer break. This allows parents to have a comprehensive childcare system in place. Round The Clock Nursery states that their goal is to allow parents to pursue career and educational goals as well as accept jobs that have non-traditional work schedules while having their child in a safe and nurturing environment.
Parent participation in Round The Clock Nursery is strongly encouraged and there are many volunteer opportunities at the facility for parents.
