St. Ignatius Loyola Day Nursery is a ministry of the St. Ignatius Catholic Church located at 980 Park Avenue near 84th Street in New York City.
The nursery offers a challenging preschool program for children ages 2 to 5. While offered by a Catholic church, the school is nondenominational.
The St. Ignatius program focuses on fostering social, cognitive, and emotional growth. Each child is encouraged to become the best that he or she can become. Faculty provide directed learning opportunities as well as free play to allow children to learn through social interaction and develop their own learning styles.
St. Ignatius Loyola Day Nursery provides a full-day nursery program, a half-day program for 3 or 5 days a week for 2 and 3 year olds and 3 and 4 year olds. Financial assistance is available to families with students enrolled in the full-day program.
Graduates of St. Ignatius Loyola Day Nursery go on to enroll in outstanding elementary schools, then on to some of the best high schools. Students attend private schools, parochial schools, and public schools after leaving St. Ignatius Loyola.
