The Allen-Stevenson School teaches kindergarten through ninth grade to boys, and was founded in 1883 by Francis Bellows Allen, and begun in a household with only three boys, eventually building to what it is today. According to the web site, “An Allen-Stevenson education helps to foster a boy’s natural intellectual curiosity about the world, about himself, and about the various communities of which he is part.”
