Located on West 14th Street in New York City, Village Kids Nursery is committed to serving up a wholesome preschool education for children ages 2 through 5.
By allowing children an opportunity to experience the world outside of their families for the first time in their lives, Village Kids Nursery allows them to try new things, make new discoveries, and build new relationships. Children are encouraged to be creative and explore their natural curiosities.
The faculty at Village Kids Nursery keep the classes small to allow for more one-on-one interaction with their teachers.
Village Kids Nursery focuses on helping children develop an emotionally positive separation from parents. A part of that effort are the pre-separation classes called Mommy And Me. Additionally, a school counselor is assigned to each student to assist in kindergarten placement.
Built into the curriculum are music and art classes, and each student receives plenty of gym time to work on motor skills.
Village Kids Nursery consists of five classrooms. Two year olds meet from 9 a.m. to noon and three and four year olds meet from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Two year olds have a two, three, and a five day option while three and four year olds meet daily.
There is also an extended day program and a summer school. The last hour of the extended day option is taught in Spanish.
