As reported earlier this week in the Commercial Observer, Real Estate Weekly, and the Wall Street Journal, The Speyer Legacy School, a K-8 school for advanced learners/gifted students, will be expanding and moving from its current space at 15 W. 86th Street (9,000 s/f) to a two-building campus at 400 W 59th Street and 925 Ninth Avenue (85,000 s/f). The new space is expected to be ready in September 2013.
The Brodsky Organization (the landlord of building) was represented by Josh Kuriloff, Jodi Roberts, and Andrew Braver, of Cushman & Wakefield. The Speyer Legacy School was represented by Alex Jinishian and Phil Amarante of Colliers International. Christopher Grabé from Davis Brody Bond is designing the interior of the new building.
Here is a presentation of design from school’s website.
